It’s heartbreaking to see the tragic events unfolding in Nepal following the 7.8-magnitude earthquake earlier this week. More than 5,000 people are already confirmed dead, with the number likely to rise significantly. The UN say over 8 million people will be affected.
East of Eden, Walthamstow
The brand new Walthamstow studio, East of Eden, combines intellectual, cultural and physical rigour, immediately obvious just from the name, which is inspired by the quote from John Steinbeck’s novel of the same title:
‘The free exploring mind of the individual human is the most valuable thing in the world.’
The studio is in a creative hub in the renovated former tram works site down a quaint cobbled alleyway. Inside, the space has been cleverly designed and decorated to induce an inspiring and peaceful oasis through simple touches and artwork.
At East of Eden, we aim to create a meaningful music and yoga experience, and as such, offer a mix of breath led and music led classes which we mark out with a B (breath) or M (music) on the timetable. We are also working with various DJs on exclusive mixes that match the flow of a class to enhance your practice.
