We have a range of dynamic yoga classes where you can expect to sweat as you move through the class. Not all these classes require you to be an experienced yoga practitioner, but they will give you a chance to deepen your practice and try new things. Expect there to be music and, other than in Ashtanga, for no two classes to be the same.
Ashtanga yoga is a modern dynamic yoga sequence devised by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois linking asana poses with count and breath. It involves a set sequence of poses that a practitioner follows in the exact same order every time, which means you can go to any Ashtanga class in any studio in the world and know what to expect. We offer led Ashtanga classes, which means the teacher will guide you through the sequence.
This is a vinyasa based yoga class that follows the Jivamukti method. Each class has a theme, which is explored through yoga scripture, chanting, meditation, asana and pranayama.
This vinyasa based class has its roots in Ashtanga yoga. Rocket fuses sequences from the Primary and Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga with a few complex postures from the 3rd and 4th advanced series to take you that little higher.
Dynamic Flow level 2 and 2/3
Dynamic vinyasa flow links movement, breath and sequence. Classes tend to be based around sun salutations, and are fast moving so you can expect to sweat, and leave the class feeling relaxed and energised. You’ll probably get the chance to try some more challenging postures, however there will always be other options and you can rest in child’s pose if you need to.
