FAQs

  • We advise booking online as online bookings take priority over walk-ins, however if there is space in the class we will accommodate you (and there usually is for weekday daytime classes).

  • Classes start promptly at the advertised time so please arrive in good time for your class but not more than 15 minutes before. We are sorry to say we cannot admit latecomers at this time.

We operate a 12 hour cancellation policy, so if you have pre-booked your class but your plans have changed, please cancel your class outside of the 12 hour window to avoid losing your credit. For members, the member cancellation policy applies.

  • If you are unsure about what class or level will work for you, please email or give us a call and we will be more than happy to talk you through what is on offer.

If you are a complete beginner, we offer yoga basics classes which are geared specifically for people who have never done yoga before.

We also offer low cost yoga classes for mums and babies, for toddlers and kids, for teens and pre-teens and for those who are either older, or with health concerns (gentle reformer Pilates).

If you have never taken class at East of Eden before, why not take advantage of our 320 day for £35 welcome offer for Studio 2? This gives you 20 consecutive days of unlimited classes in our yoga and Pilates studio so is a great chance to try everything and see what teachers and classes you like best.

We also offer a full livestream timetable if you can't get to the studio, and you can also check out our on demand platform at watch.eastofeden.uk

  • Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in. The studios are all a shoe free zone and all classes are done barefoot, or with special exercise socks.

  • We are now providing mats and props again, with an alcohol based cleaning solution for you to clean them after use. We also sell a full range. If you have a membership, we can offer you mat and prop storage. Please ask.

  • We have 7 toilets, 4 showers and 6 individual changing cubicles between the 2 studios, all gender neutral.

  • Our lockers are free to use with a renewable code each time you use them. We also have under bench storage in our changing rooms. Please do not leave items in the lockers over night and avoid taking bags and mobile phones into the studios.
